#MartínSotoCliment takes part in the group show "Seeing Touch" at Hauser & Wirth. Curated by Giorgia von Albertini, this exhibition sheds light on a group of intergenerational artists from the gallery’s program and beyond whose work can be understood through a wide range of bodily approaches that often supersede the visual. The presentation takes inspiration from Helen Molesworth’s seminal essay ‘Duchamp: By Hand, Even’ (2005), which explores the haptic qualities of Duchamp’s... hand-made works versus his ready-mades. The artists in the presentation span different generations and practices and offer a variety of artistic modes that bring about tactile engagement and embodied responses. On view until November 15, 2020 Via Serlas 22 7500 St. Moritz

"The Thickness of Time (Mosteiro de Tibaes)", 2020, by #AdrienMissika. Recovered roof clay tiles from the Monastery of Tibaes, Braga, Portugal. "The piece stands in between the monastery, a wine yard, a forest and a valley. It’s surrounded by citrus and corn. It’s the house of the thousands of insects, fungus, lychen, and will probably see weeds growing in between the tiles. Looking forward to the mutations to come. The tiles were hand made in the 19th century and cast on the makers thighs, they have been removed from the Monastery’s roof in 1997 to be stored in the forest since." Commissioned in the frame of "Altar", an in situ exhibition in two parts curated by Ines Valle.

It is put together by the artist #JuliusHeinemann. 11.910.10.2020 Jahn und Jahn... https://www.jahnundjahn.com//marcel-broodthaers-rasmus-nil
