It is the second week of our Creative DTS and we want to introduce you to our students. It is an incredible mix (there are 3 countries represented) but it is the perfect mix for God to glorify Himself through them, for their gifts and talents to be used to extend His Kingdom. The best is yet to come for this season of their lives and we are excited to have them in Morelia with us. They are so brave !!

http:// MEET OUR STAFF // Hey y’all! My name is Jarnae Hall, I am from South Carolina in the United States of America and I am on staff in Morelia, Mexico. I am 30 years old and I’ve wanted to be a missionary since I was 8 years old. I did my DTS in 2015 at Ywam Orlando. I was on staff there for a total of 3 years before joining staff here in Morelia, Mexico in June.I came here to help with the Bible School of the Nation and became captivated by the base’s involvement with Bible t...ranslation. It was because of those things and a word form the Lord that I am here. I love all things related to the Bible. Whether that’s Bible translation, distribution or discipleship. But moreso, I love the Lord. The easiest thing for me to do is say yes to the calling of God because of His continued faithfulness in my life. http:// OBT TEAM UPDATE // Check out this update from our OBT Team, working to bring the Bible to communities here in Mexico. Reaching every tribe, and tongue with the word of God. Our team continues to conduct field surveys in communities across Mexico. Our goal with these trips is to establish key relationships, determine translation needs, and uncover the reality of a particular language i.e. is it dying or thriving. ... Already, a promising opportunity exists with a pastor in one particular community to begin breaking ground on our first official Oral Bible Translation project this year. Keep our team in your prayers as we seek the Lord's direction in this.

A big welcome to the students of the Word by Heart! Over the next three months, these seven students will be internalizing the stories of Mark - envisioning the TRUE stories of Christ from the eyes of a first-hand witness. By the end, they will bee able to retell nearly the entire Gospel of Mark word for word. It's going to be a long but worthwhile adventure. We are expectant for what God has for this group of leaders - how He plans to use them to transform Mexico, especially in regards to Bible translation & engagement.

http:// WORD BY HEART (WBH) // Week 1 Complete! Our Word by Heart Students finished the first week of the school - the resurrection of Christ and commissioning of the disciples. Each week they will continue imagining, internalizing, and retelling the REAL stories from the book of Mark.

http:// MEET OUR STAFF // Hello, my name is Liliana and I am 30 years old. I am from Michoacán. I did my DTS in 2018 but I met YWAM in 2017 at a film and photography workshop they held, that is why I made a relationship with this incredible community. This year I did the EBN and at the end I decided to stay as Staff together with my son, I am serving within the area of Media, I never thought that I could serve God with my own talents and at the same time be able to continue with my dreams, God has been faithful in all needs, he has shown his great fidelity in each one of the steps that I take with him by my side. Now I only hope that God shows his will and I desire with all my heart to follow not only my dreams but to build new dreams with God

http:// MEET OUR STAFF // Hello my name is Dorian I am from Mazatlán, Sinaloa. I knew YWAM when was 12 through a skate ministry at that time I had no idea what would happen in my life. But skate culture has its good side and its bad side. The good side is that you learn new abilities and the bad side of that is that I knew the world of drugs since I grew up in a place where they were easy accessible. But that world took away many things from me, the only good thing about i...t, was experiencing God's grace on my Life. When I was 17, I did my first DTS, I did not finish until my third attempt. It may be fun for many to know that part of my life, but for me they were life lessons. Every time I doubted God's call, Every time I did not believe in the gifts that God gave me were the times I lived in defeat. The consequences were hard, it led me to feel like an orphan and wander into the streets carrying lies and guilt. Living a life of pain trying to be healed with momentary pleasure. My bad decisions led me to not appreciate the love of my family. But always in humiliation there is an opportunity and I had the opportunity to spend time with my mother before she passed away. The process of my life changed since then, because among all the darkness I had the help of many people who made me not give up on the obligation of being a son. Even if the circumstances say otherwise, never stop believing because living believing in what God gives you makes you live a life of victories. It is a time grow roots and believe that God can multiply the same thing that He did in my life with others. My heart for Morelia is for others to be able to experienced the compassionate heart of God and reach the urban culture with the grace that was given to me. See more

Ywam Morelia is a family base and we have many children of all ages but even so there are activities in which everyone can participate and at the same time be healthy for them, sports is something incredible and that keeps the children active and full of energy, which they enjoy a lot.

Another DTS has just started here in YWAM Morelia, it is incredible to see how each one of the Staff showed their talents, an incredible painter, a writer, a rapper and a cinematographer. This school will be full of creativity and best is that the students are full of enthusiasm to hear God's voice through their own gifts. A mix of cultures, students from Mexico, the US and the Bahamas, we are so excited about what God will do in this time.

We are all children, and we know that we can go to our dad whenever we need to, because he takes care of us. Our identity is based on recognizing that we are Children of God and Pepe understood that. Follow his story below.
