Banderas Bay or as some call it Puerto Vallarta, you will be pampered by Riviera Nayarit Tourism with a complimentary Welcome Party December 6, 2019, at 7:00pm hosted at Marina Riviera Nayarit. Live music, food, drinks, t-shirts & hats will be given out as a thank you for being brave enough to sail in Mexico, in all seriousness as a thank you for sailing Riviera Nayarit coastal communities and supporting the economy. Shout out to Richard Spindler for making this happen! That's not all, you will have unlimited free seminars and workshops preparing you for your future passages, including the La Cruz Kids Club and my favorite, Women Who Sail gatherings hosted at Marina Riviera Nayarit. Women Who Sail, many female sailors are arriving this season with the Baja Ha-Ha, if you find yourself in Banderas Bay from December until March, we will be hosting monthly Women Who Sail Gatherings with a line-up of speakers! Do not be surprised if you are asked to be the next speaker at one of the WWS gatherings. La Cruz Kids Club, Wonderful fun program working with boat kids on our environment, marine life and community services around the bay. Beach clean-ups, organic & recycled boat building regatta, overnight beach camp, spay & neuter clinic, restaurant management program, visit the local orphanage, turtle camp, and learn of our local whale protection organization. Including weekly movies for the boat kids. Free seminars and workshops from December until April. This season we will have s/v Totem, Jaime and Behan Gifford hosting a series of seminars. The Totem crew will have up-to-date information for many sailors who are looking to cross the Pacific this season, especially cruising families. You don't want to miss the weekly Beer Can Rallies, hosted by Mike Danielson, PV Sailing/North Sails. Just another reason to sail with friends and enjoy food & music on a Wednesday afternoon.
