I finally made it to the famous @laguerrerensemx or more like the side restaurant @sabinarestaurantemx ! . . So much hype for this place. My favorite tostada was their Guerrerense the classic. The oysters were just ok (much better places for that). But oh special tostadas so good as well. Fish pate with sea scallops on top was insane (so many strong sea flavors). And campechana with basically everything was glorious (fish, clam, shrimp, sea snail, octopus, and scallops. .... . . Kaaaabooom. . . Oh. And their craft beer is made by @cerveza_cardera . . The Ensenada adventure continued to @cerveza_cardera and @bruercerveza . . They weren’t opened for business, just for beers to go. But I bumped into Alexis of Bruer and Juan of Cardera and they told me I could stay for a flight. And oh god. What a flight. And only 100 pesos. Everything I’ve tried from Cardera has been top-notch quality, the little I’ve tasted of Bruer is the same way. .... . They have both jumped into my Baja beer radar of amazing beers and I can’t wait to go back. I even got to taste their turmeric sour beer called Turista straight from the teat... one of my new faves. Is spot on!! . . Oh. Second stop more seafood, more beer. This time by chef @alberto_ayalaens in his shipping container restaurant with ocean views, @astillero.10 . . And ooooeee! What a delight. Scallops on its shell on a bed of tatemado serrano salsa (thick smokey and spicy sauce) and topped with salicornia! .... . Andddd I see tiradito, I order tiradito. Move over Hornero Express... there’s a (not so) new pizza in town. Introducing, the family that was evil in The Goonies: @restfratelli ! Restaurante Fratelli. . Similar gig, one size medium quality pizzas for around $8+ delivery. . .... Thin crust (a bit chewy). Light sauce. Good mozza. And quality ingredients. . The garlic olive oil mushrooms with goat cheese is one that I will order soon again. . Their specialty Fratelli is your Italian meatsies, could easily be meat lovers. . . That’s my new rule. King Kampachi drowned on spicy ponzu! . I wasn’t disappointed by the rainbow roll... but it was the most meh of the encounter cuz the rest was so good. . . Ohhh. . And beers were from @cerveceriadoblec !! That lager was fresh and crisp as ffff. Bomb diggity and a perfect combo to down the seafood. .
