It's Monday again! We are starting off the week excited to continue identifying females! On Friday last week, we encountered three more mommas. This video is when our director, Deni Ramirez, conducted an ultrasound on one of the ladies. You can see she isn't a huge fan of the ultrasound and starts to dive a bit, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity. Keep shouting out names, both here and on our story, for the chance to name one of the 6 new sharks we found last week. Have a great week!

We had a short but amazing encounter with this mega-momma on Wednesday. She was on the move and hard to keep up with, but luckily we swam fast enough to take her picture. We are so happy to be able to add another new shark to our data base, and especially one as big as her. We estimate her to be about 13 meters (42 feet)!
