Hurricane Delta is the biggest storm forecast to hit Playa del Carmen in many years. Delta is expected to hit close to us as a category 3 hurricane Tuesday night into Wednesday morning (local time). Please wish us luck that we can get through this storm safely with minimal damage to health and property. It has been a tough year for us in Playa del Carmen, but we're strong and won't let this stop us being a top international travel destination.... Our incredible team have already taken one of our boats to safety in Puerto Aventuras and we'll be taking the second boat early tomorrow morning while the seas are expected to be calm. We were expecting storm Marco to hit strongly overnight Saturday in to Sunday, but fortunately through the night on Friday the course of the storm changed north and it seems we are likely to be spared any significant troubles. However before the course of the storm changed many dive shops and fishing operators removed their boats form the water at Coco Beach just to be on the safe side. We are diving in the Cenotes on Saturday and Sunday and we hope to be back diving in the ocean either Sunday afternoon or Monday morning. Stay safe and hopefully see you soon!

The ocean is looking really calm this morning. I'm sure our direct to Cozumel trip will be very fast and comfortable!

We had a turtley awesome dive when Alex joined Enzo for his #padiOpenWater training dives at Cueva del Pargo. This is one of our shallow training sites with loads to see and the reef is stunning and in very good condition. We were lucky enough to spot 5-6 green turtles, one of which was really relaxed and happy to be the star of the show alongside Alex. There has never been a better time to snorkel with the whale sharks here in Mexico. The ocean was perfectly flat yesterday and we saw many whale sharks as well as manta rays and a huge pod of dolphins during the boat ride. The ocean looked an incredible glowing turquoise despite to looming storm clouds. Great dives this afternoon, now let's get back to the shop before we all get wet!
