Visit Christ of the Sacred Heart The 75-foot, 40-ton steel and fiberglass statue of Christ of the Sacred Heart is impossible to miss when driving along the Baja coast south of Rosarito. Cristo del Sagrado Corazón was designed by Tijuana sculptor Gregorio Ramirez and commissioned by local Antonio Pequeño, who died shortly after its completion in 2006. A mainstay of Catholic iconography, it closely recalls that other iconic mega-messiah, Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer, save for an exposed heart with thorns and full coat of color. According to Ramirez, it’s the tallest full-color homage to Christ in the world. Want to get up close? Exit the toll road at Rosarito, continue south on the free road toward Ensenada, and head inland near the town of El Morro at kilometer 44. This way to salvation.

Grand Surf Casa had their first wedding! It was wonderful and very romantic. Their wedding planner Chris Baja Bride setup the food, cake, decorations, and entertainment. The cake was made by Panpan Iram. Entertainment was Mariachi Santana and the location was at a great VRBO or Airbnb rental vacation home Grand Surf Casa, Rosarito, Mexico. What a romantic setting!!! On the beach, the ocean as the background, with a beautiful wedding arbor of flowers. Perfect weather... for a barefoot wedding. Grand Surf Casa has beds for 21+. Three bedrooms and three baths in the main house. The hills are alive with color. Spring has sprung. On the way to Grand Surf Casa, Vacation Rental, in Rosarito MX you will see all the hills alive with flowers. Looking up toward the Baja Conversance Center https://www.bccenter.mx//en/about-us/baja-california-center you see all the flower in bloom. The Conference Center is only 3 miles from my home. I have the perfect place to unwind from a long day at a conference.
