EXCEPTIONAL SAILING EXPERIENCE 5 of 5 starsReviewed yesterday NEW There are any number of ships to choose from in Sayulita for a day on the sea. Our son researched them carefully and selected Sayula Sailing Explorations, a small operated captained by Darren. This was a wise choice as the other ships we saw were crowded and commercial. Darren's Sayula1 never takes on more than 35 passengers and both the ship and crew are exceptional. Darren has lived in Saylita for years and... knows the region well. He is an extraordinarily enthusiastic and experienced guide; the fact that his crew has worked with him for the better part of ten years is testament to his good nature and determination to provide a singular voyage to each and every guest. My husband has had a major illness for many years and Darren spent hours chatting with him to ensure that he was comfortable and engaged. We were there with four, young adults who spent the day snorkelling, swimming and paddle boarding all along the coast. It was a fine trip on a good ship, helmed by a unique and memorable guy.
