Hola Riders! Did a ride from Tijuana-Ensenada-Ojos Negros-San Felipe -Gonzaga-Laguna Chapala-Cataviña-El Rosario-San Quintín-Punta Colonet-Santo Tomás-Ensenada-Tijuana. The Ensenada bypass is closed (even for motorcycles) .... Before El Sauzal there is the Sanitary check point checking your body temperature and they let you go thru or not at the discretion of the officer on duty. In Ojos Negros and Punta Colonet, there is also a body temperature check and you can pass with no issues. In San Felipe there is rigorous review and questioning of your destination, clarifying that visits to family and tourist stays are not allowed. It was made clear to him that I would just go thru town to fill up gasoline and immediately go to Gonzaga. They took photos of the bike to make sure it was not seen in downtown San Felipe or on the Malecón and being very clear about this, they let me pass. If you plan to go beyond Ensenada, these are the risks you may run into. The highest temperature was 39 degrees Celsius almost reaching El Chinero in San Felipe and the lowest was 16 at San Quintín. Hola Riders! Espinazo del Diablo, a treacherous mountain road in Mexico Espinazo del Diablo (The Devil's Backbone) is a famous mountain road in Mexico. Located between Mazatlan on the west coast of mainland Mexico and Durango, which lies east of the Sierra Madre Mountains, this road is known by locals and internationally for its hairpins and zigzags turns. The road lies almost entirely over 2.000 meters above the sea level.... VÁMONOS!!!
