This is the first set of re...lics to be photographed and video’d with this high-resolution 360- degree video camera work and state of the art technology, allowing for a unique up-close highly detailed view. The perspective is powerful and breathtaking - imagery that has never been available to the public before. It is part of the creation of the Multi-Media Buddhist Relic Museum, scheduled for completion mid 2021. Relics are displayed to inspire us that enlightenment is possible, to remind us that these Buddhist masters were real people and to promote good virtue. While viewing, you can listen to Lama Lhanang Rinpoche tell the story of how he acquired each one. Upon completion of the Relic Museum, Lama Lhanang Rinpoche also provides a short teaching on the life of each Buddhist master on display. This project was created as a result of the Covid19 pandemic, which prevents the relics from being on public display for in person viewing. This inspiring presentation makes viewing relics and dutsi (Tibetan medicinal pills) accessible to anyone, anytime, in a format that has never been achieved before, so that all beings may benefit.
