Dr Marzia Mortati is a Research Fellow in Design at POLI.design. She researches mainly on the relationship between design and innovation, linking this to Design Policy, Collaborative Networks, SMEs, social and systemic innovation methods and approaches. She is involved in the development of Design for Europe as part of the coordination team for the pillar Design for Policy. She teaches design innovation, mainly working with international and multi-cultural groups. In particul...ar, she teaches Meta Design, Design Innovation, Strategic and Service design. She is involved in international research concerning Design and Innovation, Design Policies, Social Innovation, and in European networks (e.g. MEDes - Master of European Design) to promote the value of design in innovation. Since 2007 she has worked in the Product/Service Systems Design faculty at Politecnico di Milano. See more
