Bottling - this word causes us both excitement and anxiety. On a very different level, compared to the actual winemaking. It's a heavy load due to the manual process we employ, but also an opportunity to get creative with blending. This is where imagination flies and when we decide what you're actually be getting inside the bottle. The truth behind experiments is revealed and we decide what worked and what didn't. We often walk away with surprises when a certain ugly duckling grape we didn't expect much from suddenly turns into a swan and vice versa. It's immensely gratifying and humbling. It's philosophy of life manifested in a bottle and we love the lessons it teaches us every day.

The space we have dreamt up last year is finally up and running. It's a gallery, a shop, a tasting room - we don't really know. As most of our projects it runs on passion, rather than a desire to fit into a box. Marcelo Castro Vera is a creative entrepreneur - he focuses on ancient and artisanal methods of making traditional drinks like mezcal, wine, and beer. His range... of products today exceeds 40 different labels consisting of three varieties of mezcal - all of which have won gold and silver medals in the National Branding Contest by the Academy of Mezcal and Maguey and in the Mexico Selection category at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
