It's also an important chance to push for broader access to CGMs. Awareness is one key to CGM access, but affordability challenges are also a *huge* hurdle for many in our community. Diabetes technology, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), should be accessible to people with diabetes regardless of employment or insurance status, across all demographics, without barriers and at an affordable and predictable price point. That's why we're pushing for the expansion of CGM access to Medicare beneficiaries in the United States at both a federal and state level. We're also advocating for systemic payment policies that will make devices less expensive. Meanwhile, the entire country just spent 30 seconds thinking about diabetes care. That's huge.
