Hi, My name is Bernardo "Berny"@bernardomarfil , I am 35 years old, and I have been fighting cancer for the last 4 years. Despite my age, I was diagnosed with t...ongue cancer in 2017. I’ve undergone 4 surgeries, radiation, several rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, but so far, none of them have been successfull. I recently started an experimental therapy that so far has proven to be successful. Unfortunately, my insurance company won’t cover it because it is experimental and not yet approved by the FDA. My family and I have done everything to keep this treatment going, but the cost of this therapy is just outrageous ($20,000 usd per month). We have used all of our life savings to afford this battle, but no longer have the means to keep it going. I am a fighter! I have a successful career, I am a soccer fanatic @rayados , and a marathon runner (16 and counting). I know I am running the marathon of my life, and I want to finish it.
