Un cocodrilo con sus centenares de crías, la foto más 'salvaje' del año. La espectacular imagen de este cocodrilo, con sus crías posando sobre él, ha sido cap...turada por el fotógrafo de vida salvaje Dhritiman Mukherjee, quien ha sido premiado como el ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ del Museo Nacional de Historia de Londres. Esta especie de cocodrilo (gavial de agua dulce) está en peligro crítico de extinción. Donde hace un tiempo vivían más de 20.000 ejemplares en el sur de Asia, la especie ahora se ha reducido a menos de 1.000 animales adultos, y tres cuartas partes de estos se concentran en el santuario de Uttar Pradesh. Dhritiman dice que aunque la mayoría de los cocodrilos llevan a sus crías en la boca, la forma inusual del hocico del gavial lo hace imposible. Mummy howling monkey and baby "Lucas". . . . .... This is the first good picture of baby howling monkey "Lucas" I have. . . . . I will remember all my life the first time we encounter baby howling monkey. . . . It was the 28th of April 2018, a really special day for me. I just lost someone really important in my life, but what ever happened I had to do my job and do the excursion. People had to dream and see the beauty of Punta Laguna Reserve. . . . . I took all my courage and all my motivation, hide my pain and went to work. It was hard but what a surprise when we discovered that a new born was in the reserve. . . . . I saw this as a sign and decided that for me this baby howling monkey will be "Lucas", and started to call him like this, without knowing yet if it was a male or female. . . . . . It took a month for us to see of the sex of the baby howling monkey, but we finally were able to see it, it's a boy and his name is "Lucas" . . . .
