Geoff, who partnered up with Alex and John during their stay at Villa de Los Mangos 9/16 to 9/26/20 had this to say about his stay here: "Spent 10 wonderful days at Villa Los Mangos and enjoyed a great surfing holiday in the sun. The house is beautiful and distinctive, spacious and well-appointed with all we needed. The waves at Saladita were a 5 min walk or 2-minute drive, giving us easy access while preserving for ourselves the peace and quiet of the great little section o...f the beach where the house is located. Owner Tim was great and helped us out with our many questions and making sure we had all we needed. His fellow caretakers, Noe and Ari, took great care of us and helped us get anything we needed, from medical care in Zihuatanejo, a rental car rescue and some memorable home cooked meals prepared in style. OUR MOST RECENT REVIEW - outlining the advantages and utility of "workcations" alex r Wed, Sep 16 Sat, Sep 26, 2020 Vrbo... 5/5 Fantastic Surf Workcation Villa Mangos is a great property - Our small group of 4 "older" surfers thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a short walk (~10 mins) to the main break which is perfect for long boarders of all ability levels. The house has a great kitchen, outdoor bar and pool for cooling off. The owner (Tim) is super helpful and very communicative & friendly. The internet is top notch and we successfully "worked" via Zoom calls all over the world. The only challenge was 1-2x short power outages (due to storms) & Tim says he is adding a generator to address. The caretakers (Noe/Ari) were also sensational and prepared several delicious meals (small extra fee). We loved our stay - a great place for a workcation, relaxation and enjoying Playa Saladita. It provides easy access to world-class surf, from the long rolling lefts of Saladita (10 min walk, 2 min drive) suitable for intermediates, to cooking reef breaks ready to be explored. Amid a neighborhood of state...ly homes, the Villa provides security, serenity, and spacious grounds. It is even more colorful and more beautiful than shown in the VRBO photos. Chefs Ari & Noe take pride in local ingredients, recipes, and seasonal specialties, making every meal a treat. If you speak a little Spanish, you can learn a lot about Guerrero cuisine. Also, they know everyone in Llanos from taxi drivers to surf guides to tire repairmen to local doctors, and can solve any problem. As a side benefit, owner Tim is a fixture at Saladita, so mention his name and you will have friends within an hour. This place is a gem. John Hill, California. See more
