Dear La Ventana / ES community this is Adrian Aviles, your Delegado. We are facing a pandemic that is decimating the world population And it is growing at a faster pace than expected.... Baja California is already the second state with the highest number of infections per hundred thousand inhabitants. We are seeing cases of visitors from our town that denote a serious lack of responsibility, sensitivity and empathy with our inhabitants and that are putting their lives and the lives of others at risk. And it is in these difficult times that you cannot be selfish. To clarify to all our visitors and inhabitants: The specific practice of any water sports is prohibited, which includes, among others, kitebording and paddleboarding. We want you to understand that we need your empathy and support to avoid visits to this small community that may occur when people see in other places that we are open to the practice of these sports here. We have received complaints from our residents about a group of visitors who do not follow community rules and who also arrogantly brag about not following the imposed rules and inviting others to break them. So I would like to remind those who put our Health at risk by failing to comply with the regulations that the Governor of Baja California has imposed a few weeks ago, that the authorities will be able to use the law to confiscate kite gear, paddle boards, etc. and even arrest the individual or individuals who contravene the regulations. I would like to remind you that our seniors are most at risk, and our small community has a high number of people who fall into this range of greatest risk potential. So to overcome this challenge, we all need everyone and keep a very responsible isolation. We have to convince ourselves that the COVID-19 pandemic is not a game and it is the greatest threat we have encountered in this century. We are in time to prevent the number of infected people from overflowing. And the most critical moment comes when the cases will multiply in the coming weeks. So that's why I ask you to STAY AT HOME

La Ventana 2020/2021: New Season, New Rules! A brief update about KITE MEXiKO operation status during the next months. At the moment the school (as structure and meeting point) will remain closed, but we will be available to teach as personal trainer only during the upcoming windy season in La Ventana.... All lessons will be: individual lessons, booked in advance, no groups, no meeting at the school but directly on the beach, all radio lessons, all the standard Covid-19 precautionary measures in force as follows. COVID-19 PROTOCOL The student will wear mask or buff during beach lessons and maintain social distance. The instructor will wear mask or buff and maintain social distance during lessons. Instructor and student will use sanitizing gel before the lesson. It will be necessary to wash and sanitizing wetsuit, booties, harness and helmet after the lesson.
