Game on! A couple slower days out there this week, but the bite is back in business!

Kingfish Cabo 23.11.2022

Cory and Ginny, the fishing team of the week! On a three-day run, these photos are from the first two days while day three is happening right now. All kinds of sashimi were dropping by the boat and a marlin release.

Marlin cam! Here's what you don't get to see from the deck.

Victor, Ramon and Javier spotted some floating garbage today. While picking it up out of the ocean to properly dispose of it, they saw there was a little sea turtle trapped in the netting and lines. You can see a few photos here of Victor cutting the netting to free the turtle, then we released it back to sea.... Here's a rule of thumb: If it doesn't swim in the ocean, don't throw it in the ocean.

We went shopping for dorado skin handbags today. Very fashionable. Everyone found one they liked. Even the guys.

You know fall fishing is heating up when that offshore sushi bar is serving up bottomless dorado every day. Another good day at out there with some fine folks! We couldn't ask for better people to take out on the water! Benny, Jamie, Mark and Glenda reeled in a serious platter's worth of fresh mahi on our Bertram today. We lost a beauty 200 lbs. yellowfin after Benny and his group fought it for a long stretch. ... That lucky tuna snapped off moments before becoming sashimi. On Calita, Jeff and his group had a solid nine dorados. Three released to fight another day and six went straight to the cooler. Happy birthday, Jeff! See y'all at 6am tomorrow to do it all again.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends! Reeled in a few turkeys out there today!

This is how we're closing out a crazy 2020. All these marlins were caught before noon today, and there's still lots of time on the clock. (Released after the photos) Lots of love and a huge thanks to all y'all for being a part of Kingfish this year! ... Despite the overall year being one of the strangest on the books and incredibly tough for many people, I hope that getting out on the water and fishing with friends and family was a bright spot and way to recharge. Small businesses like ours wouldn't survive without you and your support, so we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Let's get 2021 goin' tomorrow with some more big catches, and we'll see you in Cabo! Happy New Year!

Marlin after marlin, after marlin. These are only a sample of all the catches we've been hitting over the last week here in Cabo. Lots of marlins jumpin', but we're also seeing a few yellowfins here and there, some dorado and a couple other species.

Goin' fishin' here in Cabo? While everyone else at the resort is sleeping one off, you're already up and at 'em, seeing this view with a coffee in hand.

Underwater taco cam by First Mate Carlos! For those of you who are new to home cooking, this is what Baja tacos look like moments before they are put on the tortillas. Thanks to Elizabeth and Evan for helping with the taco prep!

Had a solid day on some boats, and an empty day on two boats out there today. The boys are always on the hustle and wish we could have a trophy day on every boat, but sometimes it's just not in the cards. It's been a great run lately though, ready for more tomorrow!... Marlin, released on Falcon.

Kingfish Cabo 20.11.2022

Today was all about that dorado action. Up into the double digits and a marlin on the line as I type this.
