This Corten steel cross is twin with 130 others embedded in the elaborate brick facade of José. We used this remaining cross as a target to test your aim with tequila ice shots. Our tree has died but not our love for this tradition. Come say goodbye to our tree with one last glass shot before it's gone this weekend.

Meet our bar manager Carlos Marquez. Carlos comes from humble beginnings starting out as a busboy working his way up to bartender at several Dallas hotspots. In that time, he immersed himself in all things agave and leads the team in creating a personalized agave experience at @joseonlovers. In just a short time, he has helped to amass over 240 selections and continues to acquire the most agave spirits in North Texas. With one kid and another soon on his way, "Lita" (we have no idea why we call him that) is a vital asset to the José Team. He loves sharing his knowledge of tequilas and mezcals and will go on and on if you let him. He loves his family, chilaquiles, and foreign films. We are proud to have him in our #familia!

Meet Noe Delgado, our Am sous chef. Noe studied at I.C.E. in New York City, and is originally from Rockford, Illinois. His favorite movie is Mean girls. He loves pizza and tacos! (Who doesn't?!) ... Little known fact... his favorite album of all time is Taylor Swift’s fearless album. It’s been in the CD player for the last 7 years. We love having @noe_delgado_ as a part of our familia!! His contagious smile brights up any room!
