In our #FabulousFaculty series, we are taking a moment to celebrate the findings of Dr. Gaurav Varshney from the CSE department of IIT Jammu. Dr. Varshney reported a potential vulnerability in the QR code implementation of Aadhar and helped the team of technology experts at UIDAI fix it. Pankaj Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, UIDAI in a gracious appreciation letter sent to the institute, appreciated Dr. Varshney's expert approach to help save the information of the citizens and extended his gratitude for helping fix an extremely crucial vulnerability in UIDAI.
