NEW SKINK FROM MEXICO’S SIERRA MADRE DEL SUR Uri Garcia and collaborators have described yet another species from the Sierra Madre del Sur in Oaxaca and Guerrero. The new species, Plestiodon longiartus is named for its elongated limbs. A link to the full description is available in the comments.

UNA NUEVA ESPECIE DE GECKO DE NAYARIT Un equipo de investigadores ha descrito la nueva especie: Phyllodactylus cleofasensis. El gecko lleva el nombre de la Isla María Cleofas, una isla de 25 km cuadrados ubicada a casi 90 km de la costa de Nayarit.
