Grace Clinic

In my heart I am doing a happy dance! This week my neighbors needed a lot of attention: blood pressures, acu checks, injections, an ear to listen, etc... In general, after checking someone’s vitals or giving them meds, they always ask what they owe me. I always respond with, nothing, I do this because of God’s love, but I would like to invite you to my church. Today was the first time anyone has come and I was overjoyed that these 4 ladies (my neighbors) came. ... (Now mind you - we have been in quarantine since the end of March so now that we have opened the church doors again I pray for more visitors!)

What a blessing it was for us to be able to give Pastor Esteban 2 boxes of Bibles and a medication refill for 3 months!!! This dear man and his family pastor a church in a very remote town on a peninsula off the coast of the isthmo, 4 hours from us. They work with an indigenous people group called Huave. To meet us, he had to cross several check points due to CoVID. His sweet little girls and wife weren’t able to come because kids aren’t allowed to cross the checkpoint. This family works so hard for the cause of Christ and I am so grateful to be used of God to lessen his burden just a little! Thank you to those that make this medical ministry possible!

Praise the Lord - Hilmik received a new pair of glasses today. He is 13 years old and attends our sister school: Grace Christian school in the isthmus of Oaxaca. Pastor Esteban and his wife run the school and have a heart for the needs of their kids! Please pray for this growing school in such a needy area of Oaxaca. Proverbs 28:27 He that give unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

Thank you Brandy for the tooth brush donation! Someone had previously donated a bunch toothpaste so we put them together to hand out in our evangelism packets. What a blessing and the people love to receive it!

Taking meds to people and an impromptu photo session with the kids! Moments like this make the long and hard days (today was one of them) worth it! A perfect ending! P.S. Pray for this guy. He hurt his foot and has been unable to walk for over a month now! He has come out to the land many times to make brick. He has such a sweet family. We were given 6 fresh eggs from their chickens as a thank you for taking him meds.
