Diving in Cenote Angelita is something completely different from all the other cenotes in the region. To enter the water at Cenote Angelita, you walk 45 meters into the jungle and once there you must go down some stairs to reach the platform that gives easy access to the water. If you are a lover of cenotes, this has to be on your list! ... This cenote located about 20 km south of Tulum has a depth of 55 meters and the diving takes place above 35 meters. It is a unique cenote, since at 30 meters there is the cloud created by a layer of hydrogen sulfur about 3 meters thick. It will be one of the most bizarre dives you can do in your life, as you will find it similar to a mystical underwater river decorated by fallen trees and huge branches, which together create a surreal, unique and completely otherworldly experience.
