CG SUPERVISOR The CG Supervisor is a key leader, overseeing the project through the production pipeline. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, excellent communicator, and CG Generalist with a good eye for aesthetics. The CG Supervisor is responsible for determining the technical approach and the requirement s needed to achieve the desired look for specific project(s), as well as developing the pipeline and identifying processes and procedures to improve the workflow. Assist...ing and supervising the artist in achieving the artistic goals of the production Complete understanding of 3D principles and production pipelines is essential Proven team leadership and strong motivational skills Excellent working knowledge of Maya, experience with Redshift and Nuke is a plus Working knowledge and understanding of 3D software packages used in digital film production, in particular, Maya Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work in a collaborative environment and take direction and constructive feedback. 3+ years Experience in a Film, Animation, VFX, or Games production environment, and/or strong portfolio displaying relevant skills. Strong coordination, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills Self-motivation, inspiration, and drive The ability to efficiently organize and prioritize work across multiple areas and work and remain calm under pressure Strong written and verbal English language skills Excellent in pro-active problem solving and finding solutions within the parameters presented Responsibilities: Assisting in all technical aspects of animation production including modeling, textures, rigging, animation, lighting, and FX Maintain the quality and vision during the project Knowledge of a full 3D pipeline A comprehensive understanding of the 3D animation pipelines Working closely with the director, producers, and supervisors to interpret the creative vision, oversee every aspect of production, and plan a pragmatic way to deliver on that brief Working with Creative Resources to define recruiting goals to achieve the appropriate balance of qualified artists. Training the team members and making sure the tools required for the project are up to the task Adhere to deadlines and anticipate, communicate, and troubleshoot technical issues with Production.
