Esports UPY

Heyo! Thank you to everybody who came out to our first UPY esports event on Saturday, September 14th! We hope you had a great time meeting new people, learning about what we plan to do and showing off your SSB skills! ... As a quick resume to anyone who wasn't able to come, here is the most relevant information we talked about and what we did during our meeting: -A quick introduction: We are a brand-new, never-seen-before, UPY students club: UPY esports. Our aim is to create a gaming scholar community where everyone can improve their skills by the analysis of games. -About our activities: *Conferences and Workshops about disruptive subjects applied to esports. *Develop strategies to optimize decision-making while playing. *Participate in local and online tournaments. *DATES ARE NOT DECIDED YET! We will make a survey to decide when and at what time to start! -Icebreaker: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Blitz Tournament. We had a surprise activity as part of our Recruitment Day: a SSB Blitz Tournament! Special thanks to Germán Espadas for helping us to host this activity!
