Arrived Cozumel, Denver to Dallas to Cozumel. Airports quiet but efficient. Airplane to Dallas completely full. Everyone wearing masks. Airplane to Cozumel 3/4 ...full. Everyone wearing masks. Cozumel is very surreal. No traffic but all that are out, are wearing masks. Except the occasional silly tourist. Great dinner at Rock’n Java. Mega for shopping. Then back to Residencias Reef. This morning, peaceful breakfast by the water at Hemingway’s Bar & Lounge, just watching the ships go by. The sanitation protocols are amazing. EVERYWHERE you go. Stepping on sanitation mats as you enter. Temp check at every turn. Hand sanitizer you must use as you enter. Wait staff with masks AND face shields. Even workers on the streets are wearing masks. I wish we could get this cooperation in the states! EVERYTHING is sanitized and shiny. I have never seen such hospitality and eagerness to please. Please come on down and have no fears. Also please for your protection and their’s, respect the local people and obey the sanitation protocols they have set up. PLEASE WEAR A MASK AND USE HAND SANITIZER
