Deeply restorative and filled with qui...et pleasures, a step back in time but also a sense of communities looking to the future, young people increasingly concerned to conserve their unique natural environment and cultural heritage. The Birding was extraordinary: Sunset, we cruised from one mangrove island to the next and on out to the Gulf as the pulpo fleet returned to harbor; Sunrise, we tracked Laughing Falcons, Crane Hawks and Caracaras surveying their universe from snags & look-outs rising above the unusually dense stands of old-growth forest still scattered between the family farmsteads.
