Estas pruebas no son siempre confiables: su positividad no confirma la enfermedad y la negatividad no la descarta. Por lo tanto, contar con una prueba negativa, NO ASEGURA QUE NO ESTÉ PONIENDO EN RIESGO A MIS CONTACTOS. Todo resultado debe ser interpretado por un médic...o especialista, en el contexto clínico de cada paciente. El médico determinará la necesidad de realizar una prueba confirmatoria y guiará en cuanto a la pertinencia de aislamiento y vigilancia.
