During the months of January and February, we will be offering Conversation Meet-ups, starting January 9. A Writing Workshop will be offered twice-a-week over a three week period. When: Mondays and Thursdays from 4-6 during January. Where: in our new location, Inchataro 128, catty-corner from the Seminario on the road Rey Tanganxoan up to Santa Maria. Cost: $500. Start date: January 11 to January 28. ... Centro Eva’s low prices continue with quality personalized lifelong learning opportunities. The workshop will provide online assistance for those participants who are interested in further drafting.

Starting January 11, join a Writing Workshop for intermediate and advanced English language practice. This workshop is perfect for people who want to improve their language level and confidence, learn grammar in action, and publish articles or write essays in English. Where: Centro Eva, located in preparatoria Anton Van Leewenhoek, Inchataro 128, off of Rey Tanganxoan (the road up to Santa Maria) in Vista Bella, across from the Seminario. When: Mondays and Thursdays at 16:00-...18:00 Cost: $500 per participant Workshop focus: improve writing with style, apply grammar in usable formats, exchange knowledge and grow as a writer in English. Advanced participants will enter an international writing exchange. Centro Eva is a project of Talentos en Movimiento, A.C., (TAMOAC) a non-profit civic association dedicated to providing learning experiences at low cost.

Centro Eva is pleased to announce the beginning of its Reading Club. The first book that we will read is The Last Song, by Nicholas Sparks. If you are interested in joining, please send an inbox for details. We will begin reading this week and next week we will have our first live online session for discussion. This is going to be fun!

Centro Eva will host the second stage of professional development and preparation for the TKT exam. If you know of anyone who has already taken the TKT exam, but would like to increase their teaching skills, then this course could answer their needs. Any veteran or new teacher is welcome and guaranteed to learn valuable active teaching skills. During the second stage, we will cover lesson planning, teaching resources and how to incorporate them seamlessly into your teaching, ...and classroom management. We will look into blended, learning, flipped classrooms, and self-access centers as well. Start date: February 13. Saturdays from 8-1 Finish date: June 25 Cost: send an inbox and details will be discussed privately. This course is supported by UNEDEPROM, the Commission Mixta Estatal de Escalafon, and CEDPROM I.
