Today we are trimming the beautiful zapote tree back to its crown, with our neighbour’s blessing. We love trees but when they get too tall the branches become a danger and the falling fruit really hurts! it will grow back even more beautiful.

Travel during this time of Covid is difficult, but Mark’s warm hospitality and the secure comfort and generous amenities of the house has made for a relaxed and stress-free stay. Many of the reviews here on Airbnb, as well as the photos, detail the outstanding features and comforts of the house and its location. We can testify that all of the ...high compliments have proved accurate for us as well. We especially love the garden and full size pool. Day and night, It has been our favorite place to spend time with the lush foliage of the mature landscape, the ambiance of the night time lighting, the sound of the water in the fountain and a plunge into the crystal clear pool. The natural lighting and the refreshing airflow through the house provided by the interior gardens and quiet ceiling fans kept the house cool even on hot days. The AC in the bedrooms and living room were perfect for sleeping or relaxing in the evening or when watching a movie from Netflix or other online entrainment provided with the house. To further compliment our experience was the sincere hospitality provided by Mark and his commitment to making sure the house meets his high standards of quality. He insists that if there is any problem, he be contacted immediately and is always friendly and helpful in resolving any issue. We are very thankful to him for all of the help and kindness he has provided us during our stay. We have traveled extensively around the world and stayed over 50 Airbnbs on many continents and we will say that Mark’s house has been our best experience to date. Mark, the homeowner met us upon arrival and made us feel welcome and at home. The house was very well supplied for our stay - even had a landline phone f...or free long distance calls or to just contact Mark with a question. Very comfy bed with nice linens and lots of soft towels. Mark even supplied the makings for breakfast for our first full day as we arrived later in the evening and didn't have time to go the grocery store. Mark covered all bases for a very relaxing stay.
