Thank you very much Claire for staying with us and for your glowing review on VRBO: CLAIRE DIAB: We just returned from a week at Casa Cielito Lindo, which is 'muy lindo', (very beautiful)! We loved the elegant modern decor and the extremely comfortable beds which facilitated falling asleep after a fun day in the sun. The penthouse is offers all the amenities of a luxury hotel with the added bonus of being on 'manana' time never having to rush to specified mealtimes or activit...ies. We really had the freedom to slow down and go with whatever flow enticed us daily. We already miss our quiet mornings lounging on the lower terrace hammock and chairs, the sunset dinners on the rooftop terrace, the quick dips in the large guitar shaped pool, and all the fun activities within close proximity to this excellent location. The two bedrooms/ two baths offer true privacy that works well for two couples travelling together, or a family with older children. The rooftop suite is especially cozily isolated from the rest of the penthouse. Be sure to open all the outdoor closets for water goggles, toys, and a drying rack for wet swim suits. We rented a car and were able to visit many more sites than we had originally planned for. We loved the drive to the ruins at Coba and highly recommend making an early morning trip to this site then driving on to Valladolid, a quaint old city with a magnificent main square and cathedral for a late lunch. Tulum shopping and dining are a mere kilometer from Casa Cielito Lindo, and the beaches of Tulum a little further but can be reached by bicycle if you are up for the pedal! Oliver and Anke have created a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to just letting go and being in the moment. Be sure to read the Casa Cielito Lindo travel guide book that they have put together. We hope all their guests have as great a vacation as we four had.
