After several months of inactivity, at the beginning of this week great vehicular activity was observed in the population of #zapotitlan #Salinas, #Puebla. Commercial and tourist activity has returned for the production of the police series "The Killer of Forgotten". A story that will be produced by Netflix and starring Mexican actor Damian Alcazar. The television series will have as its stage the community of Zapotitlan Salinas, located in the Biosphere Reserve of #Tehuacan-... #Cuicatlan, and which involves more than 300 actors and staff workers who will revive the local economy with their presence in local hotels and restaurants. Also, the production hired locals to work as extras or as production assistants. The history of the series will involve other populations for its natural setting of the Tehuacan Cuicatlan Biosphere Reserve such as San Martin Atexcal, Santa María Coapan and Cuayucatepec. Santiago Coatepec is a small town in Caltepec, State of #Puebla, which has distinguished itself by the quality with which mezcal is produced that was awarded not as the best in the region, nor of State of Puebla, but of #Mexico. Melecio Meza-Correa is the author of the best #mezcal nationally, which was demonstrated in the "National Brand Competition 2020", where at least 154 producers from nine states participated. Each brought his top 12 contestants, with his best drink, bu...t, "60 Fierros, Arreando Mulas", which is produced from the agaves of Caltepec, managed to position himself as the favorite of the judges. The name given to the drink is due to the nickname with which Don Melecio's father is known, whom they called "60 Fierros, Arreando Mulas" (60 Irons, Herding Mules), since every day he went to the countryside to till his lands with metal tools and at the end of the afternoon he returned lowering the hills of his beloved Coatepec, snating his mule.
