If you have been told that you need medical attention such as surgery or other treatment, check out the doctors in Mexico, they are usually less than your deductible in the United States. I personally have had surgery twice in Guadalajara and have had excellent care from the doctors and hospitals. My first surgery was less than 1/2 of my deductible in the US! Many of the doctors in Mexico are fluent in English.
