We will use this solution as a innovative material for our projects and a way of applying sustainability in the new construction. Tesla has launched the third ...version of its solar roof tile. called solarglass, the product is designed to look just like normal roof tiles when installed on a house, while doubling as solar panels to generate power. The tiles are made from tempered glass which tesla says is three times stronger than ‘standard roofing tiles.’ they are designed so that they can be installed on a customer’s home by a local installer and use fewer parts than previous versions, making the process simpler and easier What do you think MINDS? GENIUS! This idea is amazing to help the people who are close to forest fires. The architecture has to create construction methods like this one that also will help the communities to feel safe. a team of researchers at case western reserve university have found a way to protect homes from the blaze of a forest fire by wrapping them in a huge foil blanket. After a series of tests demonstrating the viability of this method, researchers hope their findings could help to preve...nt the damage caused by natural disasters such as wildfires across California. Small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly called drones, are gaining in popularity not only among the general public and consumers, but also among professionals working in the AEC industry. We’ve seen ambitious predictions for the use of drones on construction sites, as transportation vehicles and marketing tools. While this new technology, like 3D printing and robotic fabrication in general, promises to revolutionize the architectural profession, it is useful to know ...to what extent its practical application can affect the way archipreneurs work. https://www.archdaily.com//how-drones-can-be-used-in-archi

We think this is amazing and thanks Google to create using technology a voice to help visually impaired people. Google maps announced the launch of an additional feature that gives more detailed voice guidance to visually impaired people. it includes new types of verbal announcements during walking trips that will let a person know if they’re on the right route, how far until the next turn and in which direction they’re walking. https://www.designboom.com//google-maps-visua...lly-impaired/ Paola Ag Bolívar Luis Antonio Uribegan Karen Soto Gissel Gutierrez-Iniguez Daniel Cruz

You can imagine where you can play those days! This installation is amazing As one of the J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize recipients of the second edition of Exhibit Columbus, SO IL took on the preservation effort at the Miller House and Garden and turned it into a temporary landmark for play in the city of Columbus, Indiana.... The Arbor Vitae hedgerow at the Miller Garden is a modern icon of landscape and architecture. While the glass walls of Saarinen’s Miller House disappear erasing the boundary between inside and outside the densely planted hedgerow on the perimeter defines a hard edge to the site between the streets and the private grounds of the Miller residence. https://www.archdaily.com//into-the-hedge-temporary-landma Gissel Gutierrez-Iniguez Paola Ag Bolívar Luis Antonio Uribegan Karen Soto

Why is so difficult to integrate BIM into the architecture, design and engineering offices? We think that is just because we are so comfy in using others programs like AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, etc that our doesnt mind in thinking differently. In a study recently published by AIA, less than 13% of architectural firms have incorporated building performance as part of their practice. Although integrating building performance sounds like a no-brainer, it proves to be difficult at man...y firms, because in addition to the practical changes, it requires a culture shift. That culture shift can only happen if the tools are easy to use, accurate, and mesh well with current workflows. Have you ever think about the future of construction using super advanced technology? A French Family became the first in the world to live in a 3D printed house. What do you think about this trending tech? You think is a risky thing? Is this the future? Short of 20 years, this seemed like a distant dream, this new technology has developed quickly, and it arises as a possible contribution to the housing crisis around the world.... The Chinese company WinSun was the first to build a 3D printed house, and in 2013 it was able to print 10 houses in a period of 24 hours.
