Parafraseando a Jane Godall la primatóloga, es una respuesta difícil de predecir ya que no se cuanto tiempo estaré en este mundo, pero si tengo claro que mi compromiso es mientras viva y ojalá la vida y las circurcuntancias de esta me permitan mantenerme en contacto con esta jungla maravillosa y ayudar a sus animales y plantas. Mi imagen de Akumal natura Rescue en 10 años es la de un centro de acogida de animales asentado y también un lugar con instalaciones dignas, tanto de veterinaria como para voluntariado académico que ayuden tanto al bienestar de los animales y plantas como a la difusión del resultado de nuestros estudios y practicas. Debo admitir también que me interesa mucho la difusión de nuestro proyecto aa nivel educativo y social aunque no escondo mi temor a que la búsqueda de recursos para el mantenimiento de las instalaciones a base de contribuciones de visitantes puedan desvirtuar nuestros objetivos y se comercialice una idea absolutamente altruista . También entiendo que este lugar idílico, en medio de una mancha verde de vegetación y jungla, con el tiempo pierda la paz que a nivel personal encuentro cuando permanezco aquí.
